Team Rankings: January 18

There are just five weeks left until what Tim Yount referred to as “pay day” — also known as the state tournament — in this week’s On the Mat rankings release. The biggest shakeup of the week was in Class 2A, where Rocky Ford vaulted from #4 to #2 after a week in which the Meloneers defeated #7 Crowley County, #8 County Line, and #3 Cedaredge in dual competition.

In the highly competitive Class 4A team race, defending champion Windsor maintains its grip on the top spot despite finishing behind Pueblo County (#3) and Pueblo East (#2) at last week’s Arvada West Invite.

Many of these top teams will clash at the Top of the Rockies this weekend
