Team Rankings: January 25

Only a handful of weeks remain until these rankings are finalized once and for all after three days of wrestling at Pepsi Center in Denver. But until then, there’s still plenty of jockeying to be done.

All four No. 1’s remain the same in Tim Yount’s Week 8 rankings, and three of them — Wray, Alamosa, and Pomona — have all held the top spot for each week of the season.

Last week’s Top of the Rockies extravaganza created a shakeup in Class 5A, as Grandview overtook the No. 2 spot from Grand Junction.

The Class 3A division also saw quite a shift, asJefferson’s respectable performance at TOR helped launch the Saints back to the No. 2 spot with Eaton moving up to No. 3 and Eagle Valley making a large leap from No. 7 to No. 4.
